DALMAS
Welcoming the newest member of the Native South Records family, Manchester, UK based rock outfit Dalmas. The band returns with their newest single ‘Is This Love’. The single will be released on September 17, 2021. After the release of their debut EP ‘Stay' in March supported by BBC 6 Music, George, Jacob and Augustus have teamed up with California based producer Jonathan Smith [a.k.a. TheRealJonSmith] to collaborate on their new single. Jonathan is the original drummer and a producer of the notable American rock band Luna Halo, formerly signed by Rick Rubin / Columbia Records.
Taking inspiration from the likes of Biffy Clyro and Nothing But Thieves, this is a new direction for the band with sounds influenced from 80’s pop classics infused with live rock elements the band is known for. The song tells the story of a new found relationship that has every potential of blossoming into something beautiful whilst looking at the excitement that the future holds. When speaking about the track, drummer and singer George said “after the year everyone has had we want this track to make people feel good about life, lyrically it is completely different for us. We want people to feel joyous after listening to this track.”
The band recorded completely remotely in Manchester (UK) in George’s student house giving the band a chance to go back to basics and connect with each other after the struggles of the pandemic lockdowns. After George met Los Angeles based producer Jonathan Smith [a.k.a. TheRealJonSmith] on a trip to California in 2019, the band have wanted to collaborate with Jonathan ever since. This felt like the perfect song to start with. Working over FaceTime was a really unique and new way for the band and Jonathan to produce this track. However, pushing to always do something new, Dalmas and Native South Records hope to continue releasing music into the future.
CHRIS CANYON
Chris Canyon is a Southern California based singer / songwriter. Growing up in the high desert of Hesperia, CA, he began writing songs as a way to express the experiences and emotions he encountered in his life. Chris developed a hard earned “DIY” work ethic that has no doubt helped him achieve admirable independent success. He has already gotten his songs played on terrestrial radio such as 95.1 KLOS, opened for Jacob Bryant, and competed on both The Voice and American’s Got Talent. Having several successes so early on in his career, Chris would say he’s both inspired and encouraged to pursue his songwriting and artist career full-time and full-tilt.
Blending his multi-genre musical tastes, that’s a little bit rock and a little bit country, Chris' songs have evolved into what some have described as a unique “California Country” sound. His music comes from a truly experiential and humble point of view, and represents his deep love of lyric and music.
Recently signed to Native South Records, Chris is set to release his debut single “Forget Me” [featuring guest vocals by multi-million Spotify streaming artist and friend, Christie Huff.]

Art Mulcahy
Together We Survive - Single
Native South Records welcomes Artist and Songwriter Art Mulcahy to the family. Art is a Southern gentleman with a big heart, warm smile, and colorful personality. As a former United States Marine, Art has spent much of his life... often risking it, defending the country. He has a very unique perspective on life, to say the least.
Art is also a lover of all music, infusing his songs with a multi-genre flair. The debut single, is a song he wrote as a tribute to the fans who lost their lives in the Las Vegas mass shooting during the Jason Alden concert performance in 2019. The song has recently taken on new meaning. The new single “Together We Survive” is ringing truer than ever during these challenging times. It’s an inspirational anthem reminding us that, even with our differences that sometimes divide us, we are truly stronger together. Hopefully you will feel uplifted and inspired as you listen to this timely sentiment. Enjoy!

Casey Parnell
She's A Wild One - Single
Singer / Songwriter / Producer Casey Parnell has been active in the Northwest Music scene for over a decade and is currently guitarist in the award winning band Precious Byrd. Casey is a Bend, Oregon native and is presently based in Nashville, TN pursuing songwriting collaborations with top tier hit makers.
The super catchy AC single "She's A Wild One" from Casey's full-length album Badlands was produced, recorded, and mixed by TheRealJonSmith [Luna Halo / Kevin Max] in 2020.

YELPY
Irish born Singer Songwriter YELPY left his home and thriving career in Dublin, Ireland to relocate to Los Angeles. Since moving to the city of angels, YELPY has developed his craft as a songwriter and artist, recording several singles with notable record producer TheRealJonSmith [Luna Halo / Christian Lopez].
YELPY's debut single, "Feel It" has won many awards and nominations at popular music and film festivals such as Hollywood Music in Media Awards (HMMA), Sunset Film Festival and FilmQuest. The video features the award winning dancer/actress Faye Viviana. Faye, a former dancer with the American Ballet Theatre, has appeared in such shows as Castle (ABC).
"Gravity" is the follow up single to Yelpy's debut single "Feel It". Nominated for Hollywood Music In Media Awards' (HMMA) best singer/songwriter, the music video will feature the work of award winning director Jonathan Martin and set/costume design by renowned designer Clark Schaffer (know for his work on Iron Man, Batman and Star Trek to name but a few).
Being based in LA has also given YELPY the opportunity to write music for film and TV.
PRECIOUS BYRD
Precious Byrd is one of the most sought after bands in the Pacific Northwest. Voted #1 Party Band in Oregon multiple years running they have played for brands like Nike, Deschutes Brewery, Pendleton Whiskey, and more! Their fresh renditions of modern and classic hits, along with a number of high energy originals are sure to fill the dance floor and get people on their feet!
Precious Byrd plays across the nation and features Grammy award winning bassist Lonnie Chapin and drummer extraordinaire Michael Summers, boasting one of the tightest rhythm sections around. Matched with the soulful high energy of frontman Corey Parnell and his brother Casey Parnell on electric, the crowd gets nothing but their all!
The band also features renowned saxophone player Andy Warr, know for his work on the Oprah Winfrey Show. Top it all off with lead guitarist Derek Williams who has shared the stage with Florida Georgia Line and Jack Owen, and you’ve got a full band ready to rock!
Precious Byrd released their much anticipated original album “Superphonic Magical” in 2016.
They draw thousands to local street festivals and events in their local area and continue to spread love and music wherever they go! Resorts continue to brag about record sales at events these boys play at.
Precious Byrd teamed up with Los Angeles based Music Producer / Mixer TheRealJonSmith [Luna Halo / Hayley Kiyoko] in 2019 to create the electro pop "Wolves" EP.
